Accounting Manager

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.This exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role at a new Managing General Agency (MGA) in Roswell, GA. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you'll lead all aspects of finance and accounting, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO on financial matters impacting the entire business.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from cash applications to month-end close.

• Manage general ledger (GL) maintenance and ensure its accuracy.

• Perform and reconcile monthly financial statements.

• Oversee subledger accounting for accurate financial reporting.

• Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts.

• Prepare bordereaux (insurance reports) with meticulous detail.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the insurance industry.

• In-depth knowledge of bordereaux preparation and analysis.

• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
