Accounting Manager

Job Description Job Description Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to participate as a critical member of management, working closely with all disciplines to meet productions and profitability goals. This position performs analyses and forecasts of job profitability, and supports sales, engineering, and sales areas with competent verbal and written communications.

Areas of Responsibility: Accounting AR & AP Financial Reporting Cash Flow Financial Planning Financial Analysis Tax Compliance Job Costing Internal Controls Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervision of AP, AR, payroll processing, job costing, and invoicing functions within accounting dept Responsible for month end financial reporting as required Preparation, analysis, and review of monthly job gross margin reports, oversees the gathering of data Review monthly gross margin reports to identify all anomalous results.

Investigate causes and advise upper management on solutions Responsible for annual physical inventory supervision and costing of same. Devise, implement, and maintain cycle counting and other methodologies to minimize needs for annual physical inventory Assist fractional CFO in preparation of annual operating budgets and business planning, focused on volume and margin expectations as well as operating budgets and business planning Analyze monthly financial statements at the gross margin and gross profit level for completeness and accuracy and report deviations from budget Support all depts with cost to budget analysis including investigatory activities and solutions Work with CPA for tax compliance State & local tax returns including CAT taxes Employee benefits (401K plan, worker's comp, unemployment) Insurance audits Process improvements Requirements: 4-year degree (Accounting major) Minimum 5 years Accounting work experience (Company sales $10MM), supporting standard and/or actual cost systems in a manufacturing environment Prefer 2 years Supervisory experience Strong oral and written communication skills Experience with all functions of an ERP software system Company Description Prolink Healthcare is a leading healthcare staffing agency specializing in connecting qualified professionals with top healthcare facilities nationwide.
