ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with month-end close by managing resources accordingly to ensure the quality of the financial statements
Complete and review accounting reconciliations timely, which could include fixed assets, inventory, bank and other accounts
Create, review, and post journal entries
Supervise, lead and manage direct reports within the Accounting Department
Assist in the coordination of the external audit of the Company's financial statements including preparation of support schedules and managing open/action item lists pertaining to the audit
Lead and facilitate development and documentation of new technical accounting policies and procedures
Provide feedback and coaching of direct reports via formal and informal performance management
Participate in or lead various ad hoc and other special accounting projects
May assist in the preparation of the Company's monthly financial reporting
May assist with acquisition accounting set-up in the general ledger system
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Essential Skills, Abilities and Example Behavior(s)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
5 to 8 years of accounting experience is ideal
Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferred but not required)
Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
Prior supervisory/management experience
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Experience in public accounting (preferred but not required)
Active CPA license (preferred but not required)
Working knowledge of fixed assets and inventory control
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device
WORKING CONDITIONS
Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
Travel requirements: Approximately less than 10%
Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
