Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the bookkeeping, invoicing, account reconciliation, asset management, and monthly reporting for an OVHcloud data center. This position collaborates with US Finance, located in Reston, VA to ensure completeness and accuracy of OVHcloud financial statements. This position reports to our parent company in France but will be located in Reston, VA with the expectation of spending 2-3 days a week at the Vint Hill data center in Warrenton, VA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect and process suppliers' invoices

  • Ensure invoices are properly approved

  • Prepare suppliers payment file

  • Manage bank reconciliations

  • Intercompany accounts reconciliations

  • Maintain Fixed Assets register

  • Ensure bookkeeping meets the requirements of US GAAP

  • Prepare restatement in French GAAP / IFRS

  • Manage Monthly closing and reporting

  • Manage local property taxes

  • Prepare cash flow forecast

  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors

  • Provide support to the Data Center Manager on the budget process

  • Be the key Finance contact for the Data Centers Managers and team

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred

  • 7+ years' experience in accounting and/or finance required

  • Experience working for an international company

  • Ability to work collaboratively with both the US-based company and parent company (located in France)

  • Experience working at an industrial site

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.

  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a start-up feel

Working Conditions

Standard office environment 50% of the time; Data center/industrial site 50% of the time
