Accounting Manager

Job Description Job Description Overhead Door Company of Dallas-Residential is a private construction related company and is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will prepare the financial statements and maintain the general ledger.

In addition, the Accounting Manager will direct accounting activities within the company by performing the listed responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. • Prepare financial statements. • Maintain balance sheet schedules monthly. • Supervise the accurate and timely management of accounts receivable, invoicing and accounts payable. • Present the various accounting reports to the management/ ownership team and make suitable observations and recommendations. • Assist with selecting and converting from our current accounting system to a more robust accounting system. • Interface with accounting firm. • Work with Operations Manager with respect to the quarterly physical inventory. • Research billing credits for potential chargebacks. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree, Accounting • 5 years public or private accounting experience • Proficient skills with Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to work well in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Job Location: • Carrollton, TX Company Description Overhead Company of Dallas
