Opportunity Services is seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as our new Accounting Manager! In this role, you will work closely with our executive team, accounting staff, and department leads to manage all aspects of our accounting process including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining the general ledger.

Hours and Benefits of the Accounting Manager:
The pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year based on education level and previous experience.
Monday
Friday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
No Nights or Weekends required!

Essential and Principle Job Responsibilities:
Payroll
Works with internal staff on making sure all payroll changes are up to date for each payroll
Make necessary tax, direct deposit, and other payroll changes as needed for accurate and timely payroll processing
Reviews staff and consumer payroll registers for accuracy and communicates with payroll processor for any adjustments as needed
Attend to payroll inquiries from employees as needed
Complete year end reporting tasks
Accounts Payable
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Prepare bills and invoices in accounting system, correctly coding and allocating expenses
Reconcile accounts payable each month to ensure all payables are accounted for
Accounts Receivable
Oversee and supervise the accounts receivable cycle to make sure billings are completed by the 15th of each month
Resolve any billing conflicts
General Ledger & financial reports
Maintain the fixed asset schedule and create necessary journal entries
Maintain the chart of accounts
Reconcile the cash accounts and create necessary journal entries
Review financial statements for accuracy and monthly reporting to the executive leadership team
Manage and direct the accounting team
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience preferred
Ability to self-manage day to day tasks with minimal direct supervision
Organized with high accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
Experience in using Sage Intacct is preferred
