ABOUT THIS ROLE The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supervising the accounting department and all areas of financial reporting. Ability to develop and maintain accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting information.

Must have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: preparation and supervision of the monthly close process. management of customer relationships including oversight of customer billings and collections of accounts receivable. supervising accounts payable process and ensuring that vendors are paid timely. monthly and annual reporting for the owners and third-party accountants. WHAT YOU'LL DO Prepare financial statements and analysis for the whole of the company. Prepare cash flow projections weekly, or as needed, and advise on cash management.

Prepare and/or review monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by accounting team., to include but not limited to the following: Bank and credit card reconciliations. Accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations.

Inventory and accrued expenses related to standard costing. Fixed asset reconciliations. Debt and accrued interest reconciliations.

Shareholders' equity roll-forward. Prepare monthly financial package for Owners/Management to include, but not limited to, the following: Monthly Consolidated Balance Sheet.

Monthly & YTD Consolidated Profit & Loss Statement. Monthly & YTD Departmental Profit & Loss vs. Budget. Monthly reforecast of annual projections.

Monthly borrowing base calculation. Manage banking relationship and prepare quarterly financial package and debt covenants. Prepare the annual budget and monthly budget forecasts.

Supervise and train junior personnel within the accounting department. WHAT YOU HAVE Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred 5 years of previous experience as an accountant Management experience preferred Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision and/or Business Central preferred Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
