Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the General Accounting of the Company to include, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable-Cash Receipts functions, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting as well as other areas of Accounting ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with U.S. GAAP and all internal control policies.

Supervise and support Accounting, A/P, A/R team members, assist with back-up responsibilities Develop staff by managing performance, providing direction and training, and fostering strong employee relationships Oversee Sales & Use Tax Return filings Produce monthly A/R metrics reports Assist VP with monthly and year-end closing activities to ensure timely generation of financial statements Fixed Asset accounting and reporting Work with VP on developing departmental goals, reviewing and updating internal control policies and procedures Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, and collections. Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations. Qualifications What you need to be considered:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and /or MBA preferred Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience with ability to coach and manage staff; 2 plus years supervisory experience preferred Knowledge and experience with General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Microsoft Dynamics GP and Sage Fixed Assets experience a plus Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills High degree of knowledge in working with MS Office suite of products What we offer: Competitive benefits to support your career, family, personal wellness, financial wellbeing, and retirement.
