Position Summary:

This position is responsible for but not limited to preparing and managing timely annual 1099 and 1042 tax filings. Maintaining the enterprise-wide vendor master list. Managing the agency financial services department which is responsible for agent commission payments. Production of ad hoc month-end entries as well as reconciliations. Key liason with other departments and accounting guidance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ad Hoc Projects and Analysis

• Process Re-Engineering or existing accounting processes and procedures

• Quarterly and annual audit responsibilities with internal and external auditors

• Annual 1099 and 1042 filings via 3rd party service provider Sovos

• Tin Matching / B-Notices / Responses to IRS

• Tax Withholding registrations and filings.

• Manage Enterprise-Wide Master Vendor Listing

• OFAC compliance reporting

• Agent Commission responsibilities

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.

• Position requires 4-10 years of total finance/accounting experience with progressive responsibilities.

• Property and Casualty Insurance experience is preferred.

• Prior supervisory experience is preferred

• Working with offshore team members is a plus

• Proficiency in Workday is preferred.

• Excel proficiency is required.

• Access skills are a plus.
