Medical Dental Vision LTD/STD 401K Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accounting Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise and leadership skills to drive financial health and sustainability for our company. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, including financial analysis, financial strategy, payroll management, tax preparation, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, with a proven track record of implementing effective financial strategies and maintaining strong internal controls. Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. Direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.

Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, significant costs, benchmarks, and other matters with management and CEO.

Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements. Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data.

Lead and coach the development of the accounting team to ensure a high level of productivity, technical proficiency, and overall team performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of accounting theory and experience with financial analysis, financial strategy, accounting, accounts receivable, payroll management, general ledger, financial management, tax preparation, financial accounting, internal controls, and accounts payable. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
