We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional in the Manufacturing industry who is passionate about numbers, has a keen eye for detail, and is driven by the desire to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and developing internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring quality compliance and control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Collaborate with the management team to support overall department goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Advise on the handling of non-routine reporting transactions and events. Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.

Work with the manufacturing team to understand and manage inventory levels, including conducting periodic physical counts and reconciliations. Use advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain financial models and reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.

Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to direct and supervise. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
