Responsibilities
Accounting Manager position is responsible for supporting the Global Gaming accounting function with specific involvement in revenue recognition and management of, accounting for debt related activity, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additionally, this position ensures compliance with SOX control and documentation requirements, supports SOX process improvements initiatives, and assists with the monthly close and reporting process. This role requires extensive interaction and coordination with various functional areas within lease accounting and cash accounting. Prepare monthly journal entries in line with technical US GAAP and IFRS accounting pronouncements and updates. Perform key control activities identified for Accrual cycles including retention of control support. Assist in the coordination of annual audit, quarterly reviews, and periodic audit activities of internal and external auditors. Primary responsibilities include:
Responsible for the accounting of all revenue recognition related to lease fee contracts. Monthly journal entry review and monthly & quarterly reconciliations
Daily cash applications
Assist with monthly close activities including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations with relevant supporting documentation
Assist with the preparation of the financial statement footnotes for the Annual and Quarterly Reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission,
Ensure compliance with SOX internal control requirements with respect to the Account receivable, revenue, and Accrual cycles. Ownership of SOX process documentation including annual/periodic review and updates, process improvements, etc.
Assist in the coordination of annual audit, quarterly reviews, and periodic audit activities of internal and external auditors

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting required; CPA a plus
4-8 years of relevant experience, public accounting experience a plus
Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS a plus
Experience within a multinational business, preferred
Highly detail oriented and organized in work; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
SAP experience a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179 - $180,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
