Accounting Manager

Scope of Responsibility: Responsible for managing corporate accounting functions, general ledger, journal entries, financial reporting, month-end close, accounts payable & receivable, account reconciliations, and other general accounting functions for Greencroft Communities and affiliates

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and analyze assigned financial statements to ensure accuracy and timely completion in accordance with all GAAP and long-term care cost reporting requirements.

• Management of Accounts Payable

• Assist with departmental requests related to audits, cost reports, IRS Form 990 tax returns, and other compliance reporting.

• Complete assigned treasury management functions, including bank account administration and cash transfer requests.

• Establish best practice approaches to company accounts payable processes, ensuring that purchases are authorized by appropriate leaders and that vendors are paid in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in accounting or business required, or significant work-related experience.

• Two to four years prior supervisory experience required.

• CPA certification a plus

• Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet capabilities.

• General ledger knowledge and experience.

• Reporting, reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
