Accounting Manager

Job Description Job Description As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our investments. From reconciliations to financial reporting, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Utilizing your analytical skills, you will provide recommendations for improvement and initiate corrective actions as needed. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet financial accounting objectives and maintain fiscal records. Key Responsibilities: Oversee month, quarterly, and end-year processes, including capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, and debt activity. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements. Coordinate annual audits and establish proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Assign projects, direct staff, and ensure compliance and accuracy in all accounting processes. Coordinate monthly meetings with 3rd party management accounting for month-end closing and generate timely and accurate financial statements. Requirements: 7-10 years of experience as an Accounting Supervisor. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and accounting software; Yardi experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Real estate experience preferred. Qualified, local candidates should apply today for immediate consideration.
