JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern will assist the Accounting Department with all aspects, including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, filing, and copying.
Open to Doyon Shareholders ONLY
This Internship will work May-August.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Enter journal entries and data into the accounting systems.
General office tasks, including account maintenance, filing, incoming mail.
Assist with processing expense reports.
Assisting accountants with transactional and month-end close activities.
Account reconciliations.
Other accounting projects and tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience using Excel.
Ability to perform accurate and timely work in an organized and efficient manner.
