Accounting Director

This leading behavioral healthcare organization offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services for substance abuse and mental health treatment. Having grown exponentially, they're looking for an experienced Accounting Director who would report directly to the CFO and shape the accounting function and set best practices. Your main responsibilities will involve reconciling claims and adjudications, AR/AP processing, standardizing the GL reconciliation process, and eventually hiring/managing a small handful of direct reports. Position is permanent, full-time, and hybrid on-site 2-3 days per week.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Previous accounting leadership experience
• Experience in the healthcare space
• ERP experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage (migration oversight strongly preferred)

Bonus Skills

• CPA, CMA, and/or MBA degree
• Exposure to the mental healthcare space
• Experience with payroll processing
