Essential Functions:

  • Proficient in Excel Pivot table and VLOOKUPS.
  • Thorough knowledge of Basic QuickBooks (Desktop).
  • Maintain an accurate and efficient Purchase Order processing system.
  • Processing and accurately recording financial transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Performing bank statement reconciliations and diligently verifying financial records to ensure precision.
  • Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Efficiently managing and organizing financial records, including meticulous filing and document organization.
  • Assisting in payroll processing and handling employee expense reimbursements.
  • Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes with your financial expertise.
  • Providing valuable support to the accounting team and other departments as required.
  • Utilizing accounting software (QuickBooks) and other financial systems to accurately input data and generate relevant reports.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to promptly resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
  • Assisting in auditing and compliance activities to ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail,
  • Strong organization skills,
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • On-Site in Irvine CA
  • Associate's degree in accounting preferred
  • 2+years general accounting experience
  • Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  • Must be highly skilled in use of QuickBooks, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Must have very good verbal and written skills.
  • Must have excellent work habits especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
  • $23-$25/hr. Salary is based on education and experience.

  • Work environment may include skills lab or bedside environments as required by program.
  • An incumbent is subject to contact with others, frequent interruptions, noise from talking or office equipment and demanding timelines.

Physical Demands:

  • The incumbent regularly sits for long periods.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties as assigned to the program or department.
  • Proficient in operating electronic keyboards and other office machines.
  • Effective verbal communication skills in answering telephones and providing information with clarity and distinctness.
  • Ability to read fine print and operate computers with precision.
  • Ability to understand voices over the telephone and in person.
  • Able to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing between 10-25 pounds as needed.
