ASH STREET, GLOBE, AZ 85501 POSTED: SEPTEMBER 27, 2018 CLOSING DATE: OCTOBER 17, 2018 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of this position is to ensure that funding for multiple grant programs are allowable by the Arizona Department of Health Services and are available under all the program's budget.
This position performs accounting duties, orders supplies, maintains data and provides budget support.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not supervise other employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TIME SPENT Processes invoices and credit card statements and submits to Finance for payment; assists with administration of annual budget.
20% Reconciles projects to general ledger and creates Contractor's Expense Reports.
10% Clarifies allow-ability of all accounts payable invoices under program policy and procedures.
10% Orders supplies, creates requisitions and submits support for purchase orders.
10% Verifies revenue received from billed funds and reimbursements.
10% Coordinates with Health and Emergency Management Program Managers on funding and expenses for grants.
10% Creates and analyzes data using Microsoft Excel.
10% Creates journal entries to correct general ledger errors.
10% Assists with the preparation of Federal, State and County audits for all grants programs.
10% Performs other duties as assigned.
BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no responsibility over any types of budget.

INTERACTIONS SPECIFICALLY WITH CUSTOMERS Sometimes (More than 10% but less than 25% in a year) MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED High School Diploma or GED with additional specialized or technical training courses.
MINIMUM YEARS OF DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Three (3) years bookkeeping and accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
