Basic Function - The Accounting Clerk handles a high volume of calls and emails with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism in order to resolve customer issues; which include customer questions, billings, complaints, and inquiries. All of the customer interactions are logged into a log database and the log activity.
The Accounting Clerk offers alternative solutions when appropriate with the objective of retaining customer's satisfaction. The Accounting Clerk handles business transactions in connection with the activation of new customer accounts, processing payments, adjusting accounts and canceling accounts.
The Accounting Clerk communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates proficiency in typing and grammar. The Accounting Clerk will make financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjust customer accounts.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple tasks at a time
Deliver exceptional client service via telephone and email
Provide quality service by comprehending procedures and product knowledge
Document data and customer service work on a daily basis
Track issues, and ensure timely delivery of solutions from support teams
Provide quotes for hourly and monthly parking
Assist with the Parking.com App and Website
Manage complaints for hourly and monthly parking
Supports the field and Billing Dept counterparts
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Salary Range: $22.50 per hour

1- 2 years of experience with Call Center/Customer Service/Accounting skills involving problem solving and ability to react quickly and professionally ensuring client satisfaction.
High School Diploma or Equivalency; some college preferred
Advanced multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
Positive attitude and productive, professional and courteous manner
Superior telephone etiquette
Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate or advanced computer skills, including use of Word, Excel and web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer)
