The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Accounts Payable including reconciling vendor accounts and maintaining vendor records.
  • Record daily cash reports and daily bank reconciliations for depository accounts.
  • General Ledger maintenance; preparation adjusting journal entries.
  • Administration of monthly sales tax returns.
  • Full cycle Accounts Receivable, including reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining customer records.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; reviewing for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries, as needed.
  • Maintain required business documents.
  • Prepare annual 1099s.
  • Assistance with the annual budget and audit process.
  • Maintain financial document retention files.
  • New vendor setup and maintenance.
  • Perform projects and other related duties as may be requested by the CFO, Controller and/or owners.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years full charge bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient with accounting software.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheeting, Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis.
