TITLE: AccountingClerk II Cash Applications
REPORTS TO: DirectorRevenue Accounting
The AccountingClerk II- Cash Applications is responsible for applying daily lockbox receipts,tying associated balances to the daily bank receipt reports, preparing monthend balance sheet reconciliations and keeping metrics associated with allrelevant postings. This Accounting Clerk II- Cash Applications will frequentlywork directly with multiple bank contacts as well as Coleman's third-party cashapplication processor and as such must have good communication skills,additionally responsible for multiple other processes including credit cardreporting, consumer credit processing, gift card write offs and misc. balancesheet reconciliations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform automatic and manual cash application daily for lockbox receipts working with Coleman's bank contacts and the third-party cash application processor.
Retrieve and post EFT and Wire transfer receipts.
Follow appropriate timing guidelines on cash application to make sure cash is being posted accordingly to daily metrics in place.
Maintain liaison between Credit Department and Revenue Accounting to assure efficient and effective communication is being utilized.
Update Auto cash metrics.
Bring unresolved issues to management's attention in a timely manner.
Post clearing documents as needed for all cash and noncash transactions.
Update Credit Card reporting for daily cash received.
Post credit requests on all Consumer accounts.
Post defective credit requests as needed.
Backup Accounting clerks on credit card disputes and manual charges.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for A/R related accounts including miscellaneous and cash clearing accounts.

Expected Travel: None
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 3 years Accounting experience.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
Proven knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
College course work or degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
2 years of experience applying cash or other relevant credit or A/R experience.
Experience with SAP.
