Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reconciliation reports for assigned duties as well as any required submission of files. Ensures accurate data entry into appropriate operating systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completes or assists with daily, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reconciliation of assigned accounts.

  • Completes daily general ledger postings for various accounts.

  • Key miscellaneous transactions into proper systems.

  • Prepare reconciliation reports for manger if required.

  • Ensure all legal obligations of the corporation are processed and submitted timely.

  • Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations

  • Ability to write simple correspondence

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization

Education and/or Experience

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years' clerical or accounting experience required
  • BS/BA Accounting degree preferred

Computer Skills

  • MS Office programs
