We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk for our USHO office located in Denver, CO.


  • Process accounts payables Invoice and expense statement processing, check runs, positive pay

  • Process accounts receivables Bank deposits, receipt entries.

  • Review and understand general ledger accounts.

  • Address book maintenance.

  • Equipment and fixed assets tracking.

  • Various other accounting/admin duties/projects as required.


  • 1-3 years general accounting experience in a business environment is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is beneficial.

  • Able to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy.

  • Highly committed to meet all deadlines and goals.

  • Flexible to adapt to evolving scope of duties.

  • Detail oriented, organized, takes initiative, not afraid to ask questions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and desire to work in a team environment.

  • Desire for ongoing learning and growth.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications is expected.

  • Working knowledge of accounting software is expected, JD Edwards E1 experience a plus

The school offers a BSBA with a variety of majors and a MBA. The accounting curricula are supported by three full-time faculty members. Program details are available at: The mission of the Hasan School of business at Colorado State University-Pueblo is "We transform students, innovate in teaching, conduct ourselves with professionalism, and engage with and positively impact our stakeholders. The intellectual pursuits of our faculty focus primarily on applied scholarship and instructional development. Our outreach activities - developed in partnership with the community - serve to enhance the quality of life and economic well-being in southeastern Colorado." The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredits the Hasan School of Business. New tenure-track faculty members are assigned nine-credit hour teaching loads and are expected to engage in on-going scholarly activities. Visiting faculty teach 9-12 credit hours and may, or may not, be assigned scholarly and service duties. The School enrolls over 600 students in its undergraduate programs (with the largest major in business management) and about 130 students it its MBA program. The MBA program is designed to meet the educational needs of working professionals in southeastern Colorado. The School is housed in a modern building and includes 21 full-time tenure/tenure-track faculty members, along with 2 other full time visiting faculty members. This is an at-will, renewable nine-month position. Teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA) courses in accordance with program needs. Prepare and present course materials; administer appropriate tests; evaluate student outcomes; select texts; prepare, administer and grade assignments; and assign final grades. Teach one or more of the following courses: * Principles of Financial Accounting (ACCTG 201) * Principles of Managerial Accounting (ACCTG 202) * Intermediate Accounting I (ACCTG 301) * Intermediate Accounting II (ACCTG 302) * Cost Accounting (ACCTG 320) * Advanced Financial Accounting (ACCTG 401) * Auditing (ACCTG 410) * Advanced Auditing (ACCTG 412) * Managerial Accounting (ACCTG 510) Description of Job All responsibilities of faculty members at CSU-Pueblo are in accordance with the Faculty Handbook. The Faculty Handbook is the authoritative guide on specific requirements with regard to teaching assignments, scholarly activity, research, and service. Primary Duties * Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, as qualified, in accordance with program needs. Prepares and presents course materials; administers appropriate tests; evaluates student outcomes; selects texts; prepares, administers and grades assignments; and assigns final grades.
