The Accounting & Business Office Assistant will showcase exceptional attention to detail delivering on a variety of accounting and business office tasks. They will work closely with the Accounting team and report directly to the VP/GM.

Will be a part time role working approximately 25-30 hours a week

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Assist accounting team in a variety of AR/AP bookkeeping tasks.

  • Collect mail, prepare & process AR/bank deposits.

  • Assist with business reporting, audits, and CRM data entry.

  • Assist with hardware procurement processing and tracking.

  • Assist with sales/marketing team data entry, reporting and post-sale billing process.

  • Assist with AR aging customer follow up.

  • Maintain Relationships with outside vendors.

  • Order and manage office supplies and office services.

  • Receive deliveries and assist with out going mail processing.

  • Demonstrate commitment to providing outstanding internal and external customer service.

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment.

  • Assume additional duties as defined by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience with Sage or equivalent advanced accounting/ERP software

  • Strong understanding of accounting practices and principles

  • Positive, can-do attitude with ability to learn new systems, processes and procedures and deliver high quality work.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer service
