CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Provides accounting support to the department.
2.Prepare and maintains accounting documents and records.
3.Prepares bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
4.Reconciles accounts in a timely manner.
5.Enters key data of financial transactions in applicable system/database.
6.Submit expenditure processes in Workday (e.g. expense report, purchase orders, journals, etc.)
7.Researches, tracks, and restores accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
8.Submits and ensures invoices are processed and paid.
9.Informs management and compiles reports or summaries on activity areas.
10. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
11. Adheres to sponsored agency policies and procedures.
