Accounting Assistant 2 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position

Accounting Assistants perform clerical accounting work in the maintenance of accounts and accounting records for State agencies.

Prepare voucher payables; set up vendor numbers and new accounts as needed; code billing claims; process corrective documents; copy and file documents; download and print Budget Status Reports; maintain registration, title and insurance on all agency vehicles; primary contact for travel and claims; determine proper coding and prepare bank deposits; assist with year-end closing; monitor cell phone plan; set up new phones as needed.
