The Position

Accounting Assistants perform clerical accounting work in the maintenance of accounts and accounting records for State agencies.

The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) Human Resource Office is excited to announce an opening for an Accounting Assistant II. Key Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service to employees on payroll-related matters, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly; researching and resolving payroll-related issues, preparing corrective and adjusting documents as necessary; conducting biweekly reviews of agency staff timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
