The Accounting and Finance Analyst will deliver financial analysis input for business decision making and performance improvement opportunities to support business growth. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous process improvement on management reporting, report standardization and rationalization.


  • Deliver effective financial and management reporting to support business decision making, including defining relevant business performance indicator and frequency, standardizing and optimizing management reporting, and preparing effective business performance analysis across the country.

  • Partner with various stakeholders to deliver accurate data and reports and continuously improve management reporting effectiveness.

  • Contribute and implement continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity, and leveraging current technology.

  • You will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to higher-level staff.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience

  • Advanced data analytical skills using current spreadsheet or business intelligence tools.

  • Experience in working with multiple businesses or international businesses.

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience


  • Minimum of three years of accounting working experience within a multinational company.

  • Experience in a financial reporting group

  • Experience with SAP and ERP implementation

VIEW JOBS 12/29/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-03-29T00:00 JOB SUMMARY The Finance Business Partner serves as a key business analyst and liaison between business operations and finance by applying financial insight in performing projections and analysis of results to support the overall goals of Textron Aviation. This position fosters communication and knowledge between the business and finance serving as an advocate for both organizations. In addition, the Finance Business Partner enhances the organizations' awareness and understanding of operating performance information and financial scenario planning as well as the impact of management's decisions on these financial results. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: * Participate in forecast, monthly/quarterly business reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close activities for the organizations they support * Develop weekly cash forecast and track actual cash receipts * Work through cross-functional relationships within the organization and facilitate communication between the functions within finance to ensure accurate and predictive financial information is communicated throughout the organization * Understand key business unit operating metrics/drivers and measure performance to established metrics * Responsible for forecast accuracy and monitoring countermeasures. * Assist in the development of annual operating plans and long-range plans and capital planning processes * Potentially participate in monthly evaluations of inventory balance, developing report for Operations on inventory trends and inventory turns, and subject to monthly evaluations of excess and obsolete inventory (E&O) * Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required * Builds and maintains constructive relationships with Operations, Program Management, Engineering & Supply Chain EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree required in: o Accounting o Finance o Other related fields * 0-2 years' relative experience preferred JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong sense of accountability and integrity * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Action oriented and seizes opportunities * Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well * Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required - ability to create formulas (V-lookups, sumif, etc.) and utilize PivotTables.
