Accounting Analyst

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The incumbent is a key member of the accounting team, co-responsible for ensuring the security of the company's assets and the accuracy of the reported financial statements.

Focus areas of the position include planning and reporting, AP &AR, accounting controls, and financial statement preparation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Finance: Assists with financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecast

Assists with the review of financial results, including identifying improvement opportunities

Manages Nittan quarterly report submission

Prepares Nittan monthly report

Point person for EY quarterly audit

Accounts Receivable: Administers customer price lists in coordination with the commercial team

Issues manual invoices / credits as required

Matches customer payments to outstanding invoices in ERPPerforms aging analysis and follows up with customers and sales to resolve all past due items

Distributes customer statements as required

Accounts Payable: Creates weekly wires as required

Manages use tax filings

Submits weekly disbursements to Key BankOversees weekly cash flow statement

Analyzes aged AP and research and resolve aged items.Assists Controller with month-end close and financial report preparation including: Journal entry creation and posting

Expense and balance sheet variance analysis

Prepares assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations by the 20th of each month

Manages the annual Nittan SOX process / audit

Support the operations by providing standard and ad hoc historic data and performance analysis.Satisfy all financial reporting requirements whether internal or external (Eaton, Nittan, NGT or E&Y).Track capital expenditures by project and maintain fixed asset records in ERP.Assigns appropriate general ledger account codes to purchase requisitions.Serves as back-up for weekly payroll processing.Performs other financial related tasks as assigned by the Controller.Follow the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.Assist in Plant Continuous Improvements Projects such as TPM, Quality Management System Certification, Supplier Resource Management, etc.Other duties may be assigned.2l Benefits: • Medical Benefits • Life Insurance Benefits • 401K • Vision • Dental • Tuition Assitance • Paid Time Off • Referral Program • Employee Assistance Program • Professional Development Assistance • Flexible Spending Account PandoLogic.Category: Finance, Keywords: Accounting Analyst
