Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required. (Must provide original college/university transcript at time of interview)*

  • Four (4) years of full-time work experience as an Accountant is required.

  • Experience utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is required.

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Accounting is preferred.

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

At the time of the interview, candidates will be required to complete a 30 minute test to assess their abilities. You will be provided with note paper and a basic calculator. This will be a part of the selection process.

  • Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States' territories and Canada must be credentialed by an approved U.S. credential evaluation service belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE). Original credentialing documents must be presented at time of interview.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

Skill in the use of an ERP system for purposes of managing, recording and reporting on financial and related data. Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures related to general accounting. Ability to assist others in projects involving financial systems. Skill identifying accounting errors, inconsistencies and unlawful practices. Ability to objectively and tactfully interact with departments in resolving difficult accounting issues. Ability to research, analyze and distribute financial records on behalf of the department. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Ability to maintain control over accounting and financial reporting processes. Skill in organizing information in a logical manner to support decisions.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work

Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
