We are currently seeking an Accounting Analyst for the opportunity to join an industry leader and work closely with top research, design, and development scientists and engineers. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Controller and Financial Analyst in directing accounting functions, maintaining and applying accounting principles, practices, and procedures

  • Administer the Accounts Payable function, expense report reimbursement, the Purchasing Card program, assist with labor charging, costs, and reporting

  • Assist with monthly accounting close, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities

  • Assist with administering all levels of accounting ranging from clerical level up to the most complex account reconciliations and analysis, and special projects

  • Ensure controls are consistent with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and assist with quarterly internal audits

  • LI-MM1

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Up to five years general accounting experience

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, team player, and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills (MS Office, Great Plains a plus)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Familiar with FAR, CAS, and SOX Sec 104 requirements a plus
