Act as support within the fast paced, mutli-faceted Accounting Department. Provide support and assistance where needed and prioritize workload to meet deadlines on a daily basis.

Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and credit card payments.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
Perform general office duties such as sorting and delivering incoming mail, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
Prepare bank deposits by compiling data, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to bank.
Calculate and prepare checks for permits, taxes, and other payments.
Maintain inventory records including all forms and office supplies. Also to include price book updates, putting books together and distributing appropriately.
Log Daily Invoices and update GPS.
Back up the Billing Department and assist with invoicing.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 6 plus months of experience in an office environment
Accounting Experience is a plus
Microsoft Office - strong knowledge of Excel
Pre-employment background check and drug screen.
