About the Role

Packsize is looking for a self-motivated Accountant who will be a member of a cohesive team. You will work with other members of our Accounting team to ensure proper invoicing processes are followed accurately and timely as well as working with our customers to answer questions and settle disputes and well as perform reviews to ensure proper accounting. Packsize teams will collaborate with this role to ensure proper billing and revenue recognition as well as timely submission of customer invoices. Your ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others will be vital to your success in this role. You will be an essential part to ensure that Packsize can continue to operate in an innovative, problem solving, solution focused team environment. The role reports to the Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do

• Daily invoicing to customers

• Communicate with customer inquiries and issues revolving around your job duties

• Foster effective communication with internal employees and vendors regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payment status

• Perform month-end close tasks associated with duties as needed. This may include resolving customer disputes, reviewing various reports to ensure all billing for the month is complete and accounted for correctly.

• Provide assistance with external audit support

• Perform other accounting related duties as assigned or required

• Perform ad-hoc projects, as required

• job duties may vary depending on accounting team needs

What You'll Bring

• 3-5+ years experience in Accounting related field - or -

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or associated field and 1+ years of experience

• Ability to operate accounting software programs

• Communicating with others to exchange information verbally and in writing

• Can work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at the same time

• Willing to take initiative, think creatively, and solve complex problems

• Other systems commonly used: SAP, SalesForce, Basware, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, DOMO, Slack, Zoom (experience preferred but not required)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Reside in or near Salt Lake City, Utah

• Ability to work in an office environment; sitting for extended periods and move about an office

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds

• Repetitive movements

• May work remotely periodically - Comfortable with hybrid setting

Salary and Benefits

• The salary range for this role is $59k-64k USD annually; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
