Accountant The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission seeks to fill a new position vacancy for Accountant. The accountant performs a variety of professional and technical accounting and r auditing work in examining, analyzing, entering, and interpreting accounting records and financial information to prepare fiscal reports.

This position uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments. Provide assistance, information, and r data for appropriate bi-weekly payroll processing. Assists in the daily finance operations for maintaining the general accounting records of the agency and other assigned accounting entities.

Classification: Full-time, Exempt, Non-Classified, Benefit-Eligible. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field required.

At least one-year recent relevant work experience is preferred. An associate degree and three years recent relevant experience will be considered.
