Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Pontiac, MI. The position is responsible for accounts receivable and/or accounts payable functions in a cross-trained, team oriented work environment. Tasks include but are not limited to: various types of payment processing, review and analyze data, customer/vendor invoice creation, internal/external customer assistance, reconcilements, internal and external audit support, special projects, company purchasing card processing and auditing.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for successful completion of routine A/P and/or A/R processes as assigned by management.
Communicate with suppliers and co-workers to obtain information, resolve issues, and provide support and guidance.
Process payment runs (bi-weekly and ad hoc payments).
Processing manual invoices, requests, and purchase order review
Run various reports, review and analyze data, and be able to answer questions related to data outcome.
Support various audits, including annual financial audit, supplier audits, and government audits.
Manage Company Credit Card expenses, order new cards, run reports, and assist employees with any card issues.
Seek to improve processes by identifying processes that could be streamlined.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
1-2 years of experience in accounts receivables or payables
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while multitasking
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
