Job Description Job Description The Position: Viral Coach is on track to be a $10m per year business and we’re searching for a full-time on-site Accountant to lead the daily organization and upkeep of our financials.

This will be a full-time general accountant position that will work in all areas of the business that interact with finances, including updating and reconciling the general ledger daily, organizing AR and interacting with clients to organize payment, preparing documentation for and liaising with our tax agency, managing payroll and vendor payments, and analyzing all aspects of financial reporting. This person in this role will work closely with our Controller and will also be working with various team members, vendors, clients, and agencies contracted by the company. The person in this role must be organized, motivated, adaptable, and be able function independently in a fast-paced environment as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities Financial Management: Supervise the day-to-day financial operations, including reconciling the general ledger daily, managing accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Implement and maintain effective internal processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for stakeholders. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by company leadership.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor program budgets. Assist in the preparation of the annual organizational budget and periodic forecasts.

Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective action. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Stay informed about changes in accounting and tax regulations. Required Skills and Experience 4 or more years of accounting experience, especially in a fast-paced business or corporate environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Highly-effective communicator, both written and verbal. Possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Attention to detail is critical, with the ability to interpret and provide insight with large amounts of data.

Strong computer skills and data organization interpretation are required. Excellent knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets necessary. Accounting software experience required.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred, although equivalent experience can be substituted. CPA strongly preferred. Compensation This role starts at $70,000 per year and up , based on experience.
