Accountant

Accountant needed for long-term temporary, possible temporary-to-direct hire position at large Manhattan organization. Please have experience in the accounting field and strong knowledge of GAAP.

Advanced Excel and knowledge of Oracle preferred, as well as Non-Profit exposure, and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Responsibilities include: General ledger, preparing journal entries Monthly closings and allocation of expenses Analyzing and investigating variances and reporting on findings Recording banking activities Researching and reconciling discrepancies Assisting with financial statements and forms Preparing reports
