To fulfill this role, you will provide, analyze, and communicate accounting information from multiple systems, reports, and processes. Additionally, you'll prepare internal and external financial data and reporting and prepare account reconciliations. The primary focus is on daily deliverables of routine and defined outputs using knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed. The work output is thoroughly reviewed. This role supports multiple departments.

Functions

  • Prepare required standard entries and complete monthly closing routines.

  • Identify, research, and correct account discrepancies.

  • Assist or prepare various financial, regulatory, and management reports for internal and external audiences.

  • Assist or prepare audit schedules; may compile data for preparation.

  • Maintain and update accounting procedures for areas/tasks of responsibility.

  • Analyze data and/or situations to obtain direction/answers.

  • Assist with projects and project support as directed.

  • Assist with problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.

  • Lifting up to 10 pounds.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for researching and analyzing the organization's financial transactions and preparation and support of resultant financial reporting for internal management and external organizations. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide assistance with month end close Journal entry, analysis of actual vs. budget and forecasts. * Assist with annual budget process - build files, provide information to departments, run reports. * Assist with monthly FSG financial reports, including departmental. * Assist with analysis of SG&A vs. Budget and Forecast throughout the month. * Assist with Inter-company transactions booking, upload and reconciliation. * Assist with general ledger accounts and bank account reconciliation. * Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, collaborative and professional manner. * Exercise sound business judgment. * Conform and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. * Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment. * Perform other duties as needed or required SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS * Microsoft Office - Excel, and Word * Oracle is required - GL, FSG, ADI, AP, AR, IN, FA * Background of ERP/Financial application management, development and support preferred. * Requires accounting business perspective and not only bookkeeping approach.
