Do you want to be part of optimizing and maintaining our international financefunction?

Join us and become Accountant in our FinancialControlling & Accounting team, where you'll be responsible for providingaccounting services across the entire company. You'll become part of an agileteam of over 20 people based at eight locations in five countries. TheAccounting team is responsible for bookkeeping, producing variousreconciliations, and preparing external reporting. This position willbe based in Boston, MA.

Yourkey tasks will be to

  • optimize and maintain processes regarding our generalledger accounting globally
  • be responsible for major processes within thedepartment
  • contribute to US GAAP and US tax reporting
  • manage month-end close activities by takingownership and collaborating closely with other Finance teams
  • process journal entriesand post period-end adjustments, including being responsible for the posting ofaccruals and adjustment journals in both the US GAAP and IFRS ledgers.

Moreover,you'll be expected to deliver results to customers through close relationshipswith stakeholders and decision-makers and assess how process deliverables meetthe customers' expectations and needs. Additionally, you'll be supporting boththe US tax team in corporate tax and indirect tax reporting and external auditsof US GAAP financial statements.

Your competences includethat you

  • have a bachelor's degree in accounting and have somerelevant experience working in a public accounting firm or an accountingdepartment in an international company
  • have worked with finance IT systems, preferablySAP
  • speak and write English fluently
  • have a thorough understanding of US GAAP andIFRS, including double-entry bookkeeping and accruals
  • have an interest in and the ability to take onbroadly founded tasks, keep an overview, acknowledge deadlines, and navigate ina complex business and large finance organization.
