Shared service finance team member responsible for reporting and compliance with FreshPoint and Sysco policies and procedures as directed by management.


Employee must pass a background check, pre-employment post offer drug screen
Must be able to communicate well with others
Pass the minimum hiring requirements
Intermediate general ledger background from journal entries through financial statement preparation
Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) required
Education or experience to fulfill the essential functions and responsibilities with a minimum of 2 years accounting/general ledger experience


Prepare weekly and monthly corporate financial reporting
Prepare and assist with monthly journal entries and closing process
Prepare and assist with monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
Prepare weekly and monthly internal reports
Perform internal audit and compliance testing
Engage and collaborate with finance team members to complete special projects
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Other duties as assigned


Primarily Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm; Saturday evening or Sunday rotation twice a month (ability to work from home/flex day offered for weekend work) to facilitate weekly and monthly closing schedules
Works in the office

As an Accountant you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Perform General Ledger duties and special projects as directed by the supervisor. The Team Member will also reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, as well as perform account analysis for all balance sheet accounts. Preparation of all Invoices and upkeep of AR aging reports * Prepare and record journal entries per established policy related to assigned entities. * Assist the leadership team in performing monthly closings process * Prepare monthly Invoices for All of Resort Operations Accounting * Daily Bank and credit card reconciliations * Prepare accruals * Prepare bank reconciliations and record journal entries to clear outstanding items * Review bank reconciliations associated with assigned business units and record journal entries to clear outstanding items   Ensure that all deadlines are met, and all deliverables are completed with a high quality product. * Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations related to assigned area of responsibility. * Ensure all schedules are completed timely and efficiently. * Verify that all reconciling items are researched and resolved promptly. * Filing and maintaining accounting records to include but not limited to Journal Entries and Balance sheet reconciliations * Work effectively with team members within Accounting and across departments to effect changes and complete special projects required as part of company-wide goals and objectives. * Assists co-team members and internal customers with financial information * Identify opportunities for improvement by reviewing current processes for automation, consolidation or re-engineering.
