Accountant

The Accountant will partner with accounting team members on day-to-day functions associated with accounting for energy efficiency projects. The primary function of the position is to timely and accurately enter and maintain transactions; including, project data, estimates, T&E related expenses, customer invoices and payments.

Our Accountant's contributions to the team include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate job cost accounting from contract and budget entry to change orders, invoice processing, and client billing

• Managing contract billings, and collections.

• Managing T&E related expenses and corresponding system

• Ensuring proper job closing, collection and distribution of necessary paperwork.

• Preparing various monthly/quarterly analytical reports for management and Corporate finance

• Developing and maintaining financial report formats

• Analyzing financial data and identify trends & opportunities to help drive efficiency in financial processes.

• Working closely with Project Management and Operations teams to provide support through all phases of project lifecycle (development, construction and closeout).

The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years' of Financial/Accounting experience

The following are a definite plus, so if you've got it be sure to tell us!

• Experience in Construction Accounting

• Previous experience using QuickBooks

• Job costing experience
