Accountant

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a talented Accountant who works efficiently without sacrificing accuracy working with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer, verbal and written communication skills.

Your Impact:

• Complex and large volume of reconciliations (bank accounts, insurance program cessions by carrier and program year, security deposits, fixed assets, investments, etc.) and audits and resolving discrepancies.

• Escrow claims treasury management. Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.

• Journal entries for monthly financial statement reporting (IRM and PPI)

• Financial statement reporting for IRM and PPI by the 3rd business day of each month

• Budget preparation and coordination for IRM and PPI.

• Credit review for prospects (brokers, captives) and annually for group captive members.

• Collateral and Dividend calculations for captive clients.

• Reconciliation of Rising Medical invoice and cost containment. Reconciliation of loss reimbursements from carriers to loss runs

• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. for multiple entities.

• Maintaining accurate financial records.

• Preparing schedules and responding to queries as requested by auditors.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA preferred.

• QuickBooks, Great Plains, Power BI experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills including Excel.

• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
