Accountant - Remote

If you want to work in a dynamic, tech-savvy, paperless, and entrepreneurial laden environment, this is the right place for you.The Position: We are currently seeking a remote full charge Accountant to provide excellent customer service and efficient financial statement preparation to provide our clients the financial information that is necessary to facilitate profitable business operations. This individual will need to be professional, strong in technology, confidential, and thorough with excellent communication skills.  Candidate must reside in the USA.General Duties:Ability to handle multiple business clients concurrently (you will have multiple client responsibilities)Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactionsUnderstanding of GAAP and managerial accounting:

Ad hoc projects such as clean-up of client accounting recordsConducts periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracyPrepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsComplies with all federal, state and local legal requirementsIdentifies unusual items or transactions recordedActively provides feedback for process improvement ideasAbility to work well individually as well as within a teamManage client deadlinesQualifications:QB Pro Advisor preferredMulti-unit Restaurant/Franchise experience a plusIntacct experience a plusPrivate/Public experience combo a plus3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience requiredStrong analytical and detail orientation skillsIdentify specific bookkeeping skills (i.e. your specific area of expertise; payroll, POS, AP/AR, etc.)Must pass a background assessment that will be administered using CAS's standardsMust pass aptitude tests including QuickBooks, Excel, and Fundamentals of BookkeepingBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance a plus but not requiredComputer Skills:Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Technical savvy a must, we work with a high level of technology - cloud based computing, VOIP phones, etc.Salary range:  Between $65K - $90K based on experience.Please send resume and salary history to careers@talleynco.comwith the subject line as "accountant"
