Accountant - Financial Reporting

As an accounting and financial reporting specialist within Corporate Financial Reporting, you'll execute medium to highly complex statutory financial reporting. You'll review related to journal entry preparations, account reconciliations, and company close analysis. You'll be responsible for monitoring changes, researching, and ensuring compliance for accurate financial reporting, including intercompany and affiliate accounting matters, and updating company accounting policies and procedures. In addition, you'll partner with a variety of departments and business units, providing expertise to internal and external customers and reviewing items of high importance and materiality.

This is a hybrid role located in Mayfield Heights, OH.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of two years' of accounting work experience.

Preferred skills

• CPA or CPA candidate

• Knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)

• Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening, presentation) and organizational skills (planning, time management, priority management)

• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and communicate accounting & financial reporting issues to management timely and concisely

Compensation

• $58,100 - $77,400/year

• Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
