As an Accountant within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Gaithersburg, MD, Tampa, FL, Birmingham, AL, or Atlanta, GA.
This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
Two plus years in an accounting role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Well organized, resourceful, and detail oriented.
Strong knowledge of Excel is a must - familiarity with VLookups and Pivot Tables. Also, experience working with SQL is preferred, but not required.
Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards .
Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use .
Performs balance sheet and P&L reconciliations .
Creates and utilizes automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results .

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
