We are looking for a leader who is capable of managing the day to day operations at a 30-40 person firm while also handing accounting and bookkeeping. You will work alongside a CPA who will mentor you and answer any questions you have. We are growing the firm very quickly and we expect a lot from our team. There is a lot of room for growth in both the role and within the firm. We want someone who will bring a fresh and innovative approach to the way we handle accounting and financial processes.

Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day billing and collection, including processing customer and partner invoices, payments, and answering billing inquiries

Ensuring customers are correctly established and billed

Work closely with the legal, client success, and operations teams to address internal billing inquiries and troubleshoot billing matters

Work closely with Legal Operations and Business Development to design, evaluate, and implement process and systems improvements

Monthly reporting on billing and collections, and ad hoc analysis or reporting as needed

Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions

• Bachelor’s degree required, in Finance/Accounting is a plus
• Experience using Quickbooks
• Excellent communication skills
• Very detail-oriented and highly organized
• Creative thinker and problem solver, proven analytical skills
• Eager to interact with customers every day
• Highly motivated, professional and hardworking
