This role will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and success of our Non-Profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for problem-solving. Responsibilities: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in maintaining our company's financial stability. Your primary duties will include: 1. Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data. 2.

Managing accounts payable, including processing invoices, scheduling and preparing check runs, and resolving any discrepancies. 3. Preparing and posting journal entries for month-end close. 4. Assisting with fixed assets, including tracking, recording, and depreciation. 5.

Collaborating with other members of the finance team to review financial reports, identify trends, and recommend financial actions. 6. Ensuring compliance with all internal and external financial regulations and policies. 7. Participating in financial audits and implementing any necessary corrective actions. 8.

Continuously improving systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Non-Profit industry. 3. Proficient in account reconciliation, accounts payable, check runs, and journal entries for month-end close. 4. Experience with fixed assets is preferred. 5.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 6. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 7. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. 8.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 11.
