We currently have a number of exciting opportunities available for experienced Senior Accountants focused on Revenue Recognition. You will perform an integral role in the department, preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will develop subject matter expertise in specific operating areas to which you are assigned, providing analysis and support for as required.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Prepare standard and recurring monthly journal entries.

  • Prepare and post complex and adjusting journal entries on a monthly basis.

  • Analyze month-end account variances.

  • Provide support to management on assigned revenue and/or operating expense accounts, proposing suggestions to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Documentation of supporting schedules and analysis for quarterly and year-end deliverables.

  • Issue and compile quarterly requirements and accrual requests from various accounting units.

  • Support management during internal and external audit reviews.

  • Assist in the research and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

  • Support management in streamlining the month-end close process through process improvements and automation.

  • Update existing internal control processes and the Company's policies and procedures.

  • Possess a strong understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply these concepts to specific situations.

  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience required for consideration:

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 5 or more years of experience as detailed above; or equivalent combination of education and experience as detailed above. A Master's Degree or CPA is a plus.

  • Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or other large public accounting firms) and/or healthcare experience is a plus.

  • Experienced with SOX-based control requirements is a plus.

  • Strong process and analytical skills strongly desired.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Lawson Financial Systems.

  • Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Interactive Reporting and/or SmartView preferred.

Responsibilities We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced GE Centricity and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Trainer as we conduct our rollout of new GE Centricity billing software systems through June, 2019 and provide ongoing training to users thereafter. THIS IS NOT AN IT DEPARTMENT POSITION! It will report to and support the Revenue Cycle Management team and internal users. You will: * In conjunction with the RCM leadership team, review all GE Centricity training materials to ensure information is current, relevant, and available. * Write and facilitate training content and send pertinent communication supporting these applications. * Train end users on internal systems from Envision's billing systems (GE Centricity) to MS Office Suite (including Outlook, Word and Excel) in the Revenue Cycle Management Department. * Work closely with facilities and other corporate departments to pinpoint and develop training interventions by performing audits on processes and procedures. Qualifications Successful candidates must have the following experience in order to be considered: * Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University and 1 or more years of experience as detailed above; or equivalent combination of education and experience as detailed above. * GE Centricity software experience required, as a super user and trainer. * Creating, facilitating and delivering training content to team members, including one on one coaching and up to fifty in group training sessions. * Developing standardized training documentation and ensuring that RCM training materials are current and available. Training documentation may include teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and other means of delivering effective training to a diverse audience in multiple locations. * A deep understanding of teaching techniques; having utilized a variety of resources to accommodate the diversity of individual adult learning styles through the use of corporate approved visual, auditory, hands-on materials and activities during training and education sessions. * User acceptance testing and end user training experience with healthcare billing systems preferred. * Highly motivated, disciplined, innovative, and self-sufficient. * Demonstrated understanding of corporate approved policies and procedures, workflows, standard operating procedures, and desktop procedures to create and deliver training content in a clear and logical manner to improve participant understanding. * Able to lead by example and guide others toward achieving both individual and team-oriented goals; able to motivate others even in adverse situations. * Able to adapt to change in a fast paced environment by solving problems creatively, dealing with uncertain/unpredictable work situations, and learning new tasks, procedures and technologies. * Excellent attitude, contagious behavior/energy. * Excellent time management skills and ability to exercise independent judgment. * Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Able to travel to facilities throughout South Florida up to 30% of the time.
