Job Summary:
Assist in general supervision of the University Accounting Office including the accounts payable processing. Research state statutes, and serve as liaison to OSU's constituent agencies.
Process and review procurement card transactions. Participate in the conversion of financial data from cash to accrual basis in preparation for financial statement presentation. Prepare various reconciliations and take appropriate corrective action.
Some travel required as related to duties.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and two years of related experience in accounting work involving the application of specific principles to individual circumstances, supervisory experience, specific knowledge of stat elaw, authoritative accounting pronouncements, and university policies and procedures.
Computer skills and analytical skills for applications of various financial models.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in accounting and seven years of related experience, supervisory experience, specific knowledge of state law, authoritative accounting pronouncements, and university policies and procedures.
