The accountant position supports the financial statement close cycle and performs operational accounting functions to ensure timely reporting and compliance with relevant procedures and controls. As a valuable member of the finance team, you will collaborate closely with the Accounting and Finance teams, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Accounting, and as a team together, will take charge and build an efficient process to drive Noah's continued high growth. This position is ideal for those who seek to apply their accounting expertise in a dynamic setting, engaging with a broad spectrum of accounting and financial tasks.

A Day In The Life Of Our Accountant II:

  • Responsible for month-end close functions, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and trend analysis.

  • Review variances in financial statements and document explanations for significant items.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial records comply with company policy. Review, investigate, and resolve accounting errors, discrepancies, and reconciling items.

  • Analyze month-end and quarter-end accrual balances to determine appropriate reserves in accordance with GAAP and company policy.

  • Customer billing, credit memo and collections, AR aging, and booking bad debt reserves.

  • Maintain daily cash register, post customer payments daily, and reconciled all cash accounts monthly.

  • Project Accounting

  • Commission calculations

  • Reconcile and maintain the Fixed assets ledger.

  • Responsible for month-end close functions, including prepaid, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and analysis

  • Record and reconcile intercompany balances.

  • Work cross-functionally with individuals across the organization to support month-end close and reporting

  • Support with preparing schedules for quarterly reviews & annual audits

  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvement solutions

  • Special projects and create ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.

  • Reports to the Sr Accounting Manager

About You:

  • BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting. CPA is a plus.

  • Minimum of five years experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP

  • Strong Excel, Access, Word, and data analytics skills.

  • Strong accounting/financial background.

  • Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Team player and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interacting effectively with all management levels.

  • NetSuite ERP accounting application experience preferred.

  • Medical device industry is a plus

  • Sales and Use tax experience a plus

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
